One-on-one partner meetings
The event
Tobacco Dock was proud to host the fifth edition of the Fintech for Inclusion Global Summit this September, marking the first time Accion Venture Lab’s annual event was held at our iconic venue.
Known for our versatility and historic charm, we were well-equipped to create an environment that facilitated dynamic interaction among the 250 participants from 30 countries. This year’s summit was a bustling assembly of investors, founders and key stakeholders in inclusive fintech, with engaging panels, four unique breakout workshops, and over two hundred pre-scheduled meetings aimed at driving meaningful conversations. Speakers included partners from within Accion as well as from other high-profile fintech companies.
Understanding the importance of seamless execution for an event of this scale, we collaborated with Accion Venture Lab to provide a fully managed package. By partnering with our expert service providers, we handled all elements from AV and catering to cleaning and security, ensuring the summit ran smoothly.

The end results
The Fintech for Inclusion Global Summit at Tobacco Dock used our varied spaces to full effect. Little Gallery served as the hub for catering and one-on-one partner meetings, with overflow space in East Mall Square for networking. East Mall 1 hosted impactful plenary sessions and keynotes, while East Mall 2, 3, and 4 were transformed into engaging breakout rooms, each tailored for round-table workshops. East Mall 5 operated as the efficient organisers’ base. Our Grab and Go conference catering package from Tobacco Dock Food offered delegates convenience and variety
The event’s setup was supported by our operations team, who collaborated closely with trusted suppliers to deliver a smooth experience. With over 200 pre-scheduled meetings and thoughtfully crafted breakout themes, the summit fostered valuable discussions and connections, translating into tangible outcomes for founders and investors. The event was a resounding success, highlighting the venue’s adaptability and comprehensive service.
We chose Tobacco Dock for its vibrant and innovative vibe...
... but also for its outstanding functionality. Given that we needed different zones for workshops, panel discussions, and an area for 1:1 pre-scheduled meetings via our event app, the venue's flexible layout was a perfect fit that is not that easy to find in London. I wanted to highlight the collaboration with the Tobacco Dock branding team as it was an absolute seamless experience. They helped us bring our vision to life, allowing us to brand the venue exactly as we wanted—sharp, modest, yet highly functional—creating an environment that truly reflected our identity.
