Why Tobacco Dock

The event organisers were keen to break away from the ‘hotel ballroom’ tradition and to find somewhere more innovative and characterful. They wanted a large capacity event space with scope for creating different areas and with great branding potential as well as being situated in a convenient and interesting location. Their team was struck by the industrial styling of the venue. Their Head of Events, Claire Jones said: “The exposed beams, stone floors and combination of wood and glass makes the space an excellent hybrid of historic and contemporary.”

Experience at Tobacco Dock

The FIPP team was impressed by the high level of support from our team throughout the planning process and during the event itself. Our high specification WiFi connectivity, AV capabilities and technological infrastructure ensured everything ran smoothly and gave them scope for innovation and creativity in executing their ideas.

“Every aspect of the event process was handled excellently. The Tobacco Dock team were attentive, friendly and really immersed themselves in getting to know our event and objectives. The catering was amazing and delegate feedback on food was some of the best we have ever had. We felt confident in the team and that they were on hand whenever needed. We were delighted with the event and Tobacco Dock is high up on our list!”
