FIPP is a global trade association focused upon improving the media content industry. They held their World Congress at Tobacco Dock in October 2017. This bi-annual gathering is the industry’s flagship event and we were delighted to help them host it here. Targeted at those involved with multi-platform media, technology and marketing, this established event draws senior level delegates and a range of industry service providers from around the world.

Why Tobacco Dock?
The event organisers were keen to break away from the ‘hotel ballroom’ tradition and to find somewhere more innovative and characterful. They wanted a large capacity event space with scope for creating different areas and with great branding potential as well as being situated in a convenient and interesting location.
Their team was struck by the industrial styling of the venue. FIPP’s Head of Events, Claire Jones said: “The exposed beams, stone floors and combination of wood and glass makes the space an excellent hybrid of historic and contemporary.”

The FIPP team was impressed by the high level of support from our team throughout the planning process and during the event itself. Our high specification WiFi connectivity, AV capabilities and technological infrastructure ensured everything ran smoothly and gave them scope for innovation and creativity in executing their ideas.
