The London Craft Beer Festival – Case Study
The London Craft Beer Festival is a celebration of real beer and craft producers as well as terrific food and music. In its sixth year, this was the event’s first time at Tobacco Dock. They welcomed 100 exhibitors and 9,000 beer enthusiasts over 6 sessions spanning three days in August. The event made use of the Vaults and the two central walkways.
A visit to Meatopia inspired the organisers with ideas of how their event would fit in the venue. They were struck by the scale and beauty of Tobacco Dock and felt it would make the ideal location for the festival.
We’re delighted that London Craft Beer Festival will be returning next year! We are very much looking forward to their return.
Experience at Tobacco Dock
The London Craft Beer Festival team had been looking for somewhere which would give them the scope to move their already successful event to the next level. The generous proportions of Tobacco Dock, paired with the flexibility of the spaces meant that they were excited at the potential for further growth.
Another aspect that was important to them was the unique atmosphere and the fascinating history and architecture of the building, which added a further dash of charisma to the festival.
The event itself was extremely well attended and the organisers were struck by the dynamism and professionalism of the Tobacco Dock team.
‘Having visited a few sites, we knew instinctively Tobacco Dock was the spot for us. The nature of our event, with so many small and artisan producers is incredibly complex, but working with their experienced team we achieved something fantastic. From drinkers, exhibitors and press – the feedback has been immensely positive. We are looking forward to next year already!’
